for my project I made a book stand. It is cool because it is light weight, and portable. That is what I like about it. Plus, it is made to read while standing up. Which is good because we sit way to much as it is. We were just playing around with the Styrofoam, and we just thought of it. Below are our process pictures.
For my printmaking project I made the word Be with grid lines. We used a linoleum block for carving out the design. Linoleum blocks are like blocks of clay. Once I got it carved I used the roller to cover the linoleum block with paint. Then I printed by pressing the linoleum block with paint on paper. After it dried I cut all ten of my prints out. Then I numbered them 1-10. The pictures below go from beginning of my process to the end.
Why did you choose your mirror pose? I was sitting on a mushroom chair, and thought it would be cool to change the chair to a stump. After that things just started flowing.
Explain your reason for choosing your future image? I have always wanted to chop a chickens head off. Plus, someday I want to have a chicken coop. I like fresh eggs, and chicken meat. Here are some pictures of the process I took, the last photo is my final. for my 2D project I did a bison crossing drawing. I got the idea from the picture below. when we had to change it I disided to change the circle into a diamond looking shape. then I thought it would be cool to add bison crossing. after that I thought I should change the bison to bizon because that is how the pronounce it in Fargo, ND. Finally, I thought I should color it, and that is how I got my 2D project.
